Just been to the garage to put petrol in my car and saw one of the newspapers on the stand had a headline Sunak will deport 100,000 illegals!!

The trouble is not so much the "illegals" it is the "legal" ones....that have come on the various visas! that is where the real issue lies...

Hence why Farage has got as far as he has...and as mentioned already if you look to Europe that is increasingly shifting to the right.

Something needs to be done asap....I don't fancy a Labour govt....fills me with dread but no realistic alternatives at moment...don't fancy any of them...

I think Farage will do well as so many are disillusioned and the country has gone to the dogs for many reasons...wish we could wind back 20 years or so it is all such a mess...I fear for the next generation I really do.

Nope....the problem started way,way before that....it was when Tony Blair opened the floodgates re immigration back in late 1990's prior to that the the numbers were very low...the issued stared when Labour were in power several decades ago ...then added to by the Tories

Rubbish. Brexit was called and won off the back of controlled and uncontrolled immigration. It was out of control back then and was going to increase exponentially whether we were in or out. It's been a problem for much longer than Brexit. Policies can't stop people wanting to come here and sitting gov (and previous ones) didn't want to deal with it back then and regardless of brexit outcome they wouldn't have wanted to deal with it now.

The numbers are there, its a fact. Blaming Brexit solves nothing.

I am also deprived due to not having Sky TV when I was a kid.

However I didn't get sent to a top public school and I don't have a spouse/partner who is worth millions.

The means of a GP and a pharmacist with a chain of shops weren't though they would be now thanks to the devaluation of their incomes under 14 years of Tory government.

He actually doesn't hide his school went from selective state to private while he was there.

Oddly Sunak hides the fact that his parents and ancestors stories are that of the British Empire unlike that of Farage.

My family had a "Black and White" TV later to be replaced by a colour model rented from Rumbelows. Growing up surrounded by books meant that the TV was an addition to entertainment, not the sole source.
