And people dont like to admit voting for him when asked by pollsters, but he is still ahead in the polls, so i expect an even larger Trump victory in November.

Anyway this thread has gone off topic because people brought up Trump for no reason.

This thread is supposed to be about Reform and making Britian Great again

How on earth would Reform save £156B in government spending? Healthcare, defence, debt repayments and education are four of the five biggest spending areas and presumably would not be reduced in any significant way. The rest of the annual government budget comes to about £560B. Maybe take off police too and that leaves just over £500B.

What of the remainder gets slashed to fund all these promises? It's on the same lines as Liz Truss's catastrophic budget isn't it?

That leaves ‘Social Protection’ but you couldn’t touch Pensions. Leaves Benefit payments to take the hit.

Ah yes, stop paying interest to banks on loans. I'm sure the banks will just roll over and say yes.

                  I did a quick google:

Prior to the 2007 – 2008 financial crisis, the Bank of England did not pay interest on all the reserves held by banks.
The Bank of England could imitate the Eurozone and Japan by implementing what is known as a tiered reserves policy framework, by only paying interest on a portion of central bank reserves, or stopping paying interest all together.

The ‘low tax’, ‘low immigration’, ‘fiscally conservative’ Tories have first dibs on both. They’ve been promising to “reduce waste” in government since 2010, I’m sure they’re almost there…..

But the 52%ers would be offended if we did that.
