"All lives matter" as a response to the exclusionary "Black lives matter" was decried as a racist slogan.Comment

But at the same time never has there never been more done to be more inclusive, companies mandate diversity training, universities do similar courses with staff and students. Companies are ensuring that their employees reflect the population mix same for Universities.Originally posted by northernladuk View Post
With all the division going on in the US over the last few years you didn't think it was predicatable that race relations was going to take a nose dive in the last 10 years???

Well it does seem to be used by those who deny there is a racism problem. It's a dismissive response typically used as a way to stop talking about black issues. It is at best ignorant of what "BLM" is saying (by people who think BLM is exclusionary or make that claim for their own agenda). I don't think ALM is racist but it's not used used by anyone who seems to care about racism so it's not hard to see it getting a bad rep, just as the extremists clinging to BLM give that a bad rep.Originally posted by vetran View Post"All lives matter" as a response to the exclusionary "Black lives matter" was decried as a racist slogan.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Which is absolutely true to the letter. You could argue it's gone too far, for example the RAF's recent recruitment drive which was deemed discrimatory but you are absolutely right. But the poll is asking about Race Relations which is completely different. With all the police murders, riots, the BLM and so on it has got to have damaged relations. Race has been at the top of the news for years now so it doesn't matter how much companies are inclusive and the world of opportunities for black people, iIt's how the relationships between white and black people are and nothing that has happened in the last few years can have helped it, which it clearly hasn't.Originally posted by woohoo View Post
