Wrong. In fact the adverts in Germany are weird, there seems to be a lot of homosexual overtones recently, in fact the latest one for some chewing gum has lots of lesbian kissing. There seem to be a lot of patchwork families in them too. Very few with just white men anymore unlike the UK which seems to be just made up of white men with really red faces...including the women...Old Greg - In search of acceptance since Mar 2007. I do wonder why F1 hasn't discovered women drivers yet, it may be one of the few 'sports' that male & females could compete equally without their physical differences being an issue. Where are the Lisa Hamiltons?Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

When on holiday a while back in the good ole USA I was surprised to see that it did not have a professional Women's MLB.
I mean it's baseball, it is as American as an Orange President with small hands.
I did some research (I looked on one website and spoke to someone on Twitter) and it seems that when girls get to their teens they are "pushed" to Softball.
I would say there is an untapped market there to make a few $$$$.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

That said, the drivers in F1 are among the fittest athletes on the planet (could you do a triathlon without any additional training?) but I'm not sure that the old idea that women weren't strong enough and fit enough to drive the cars still holds up.
And finally, one of the blockers is that a good half the F1 drivers bring their own sponsorship, limiting access to the less well off. The Hamiltons of this world are a serious exception.Blog? What blog...?Comment
