Mind you I was in a union affiliated to Labour when I was a permie. I'm sure at one point I had to vote for something that had an impact on the Labour party, though I can't remember what it was so long ago."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

£3.33 per month to join the Greens £1 per month to join the Lib Dems and you can stand to be an elected politician
£25 per year to be a Tory
MInd you left wing party membership is expensive-
Socialist Workers Party won't tell you how much it costs

No. But during student rag week, we did produce an issue of our rag mag called "Fascist Layabout" and sold it opposite those who were selling the Socialist Worker. I believe we made rather more money.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

Rather than carp from the side lines people should get involved and do something for their community and promote their political leanings and take responsibility
If you're not involved you get what others want, so get involved be a local councillor and join a party to promote your views. It always amazes me that people have an opinion and spout drivel but never try to make their wants real by taking responsibility
Off to meet Rishi tomorrow, should he or Liz get my vote

Oh and doing something for your community doesn't mean you have to be involved in politics. There's loads of stuff you can volunteer to do in your local area - some of which will be a one off."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
