The entire point of night is that it cools down right? Wrong I woke up to my fan blowing warm air on me.

We've had the same issue - opening the window allows the hotter air in so in hot weather we keep it shut during the day until the cool of night except there wasn't any.

That's hard to believe. There are no hallways in bedsits.

I have worked with who like to brag about their sports cars, pilots licence and ski trips and hint at their high daily rate - I imagine they live in places like this but probably with block paved driveways.

Just a point, yesterday it was 26c in the shade of my rear garden but in the shade at the front which is on a main road, it was 31c. Tarmac and traffic make a difference.
