…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore -
Tory donor Lord Cruddas has threatened to cut off the party's funding in protest at Rishi Sunak's betrayal of Boris Johnson.
Lord Cruddas has shared a series of posts on social media describing Mr Sunak as a 'rat', 'a treacherous snake', a 'little weasel', a 'backstabber' and 'Fishy Rishi'.

The current government may be a shower of tulip but even on their worst day they're head and shoulders above Labour!
Boris: "I have no idea why" Labour has "insisted" on a confidence motion in the Government today.
Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle: "It's actually the Government that has put it down for today."
You can add in plenty of ministers who are truly rubbish - Schapps, Williamson and Patel are great examples who can't even get to grips with the basics of their role.
Priti Patel couldn't even understand what terrorism was in an interview with Sky, confusing it with counter terrorism. If that had been a Labour politician like Diane Abbott then you would never hear the end of it in the right wing media. Funny how the Boris ballsup above seems to have got little attention, with the Express trumpeting BoJo's speech as 'humiliating' Labour.
The calibre of the political class across all parties is low but the current cabinet is surely one of the worst ever.

The government's vote of confidence was to ward off the Labour party's vote of confidence. So to that extent it was Labour's doing. And while Hoyle is a pretty good Speaker, he is still a Labour MP at heart.Blog? What blog...?Comment

But I do love that Labour wanted a confidence vote, then complained when they got one.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
