    Buying a Park Home

Anybody ever thought of doing this?

My reasoning is that my longer term plan is to sell up here and pit my money into a property abroad wher I intend to eventually becaome resident. This may or may not take a number of years.

In the meantime, I still need a base over here but I don't want to pile in a huge amount of money - £200 - 250k max which won't buy me much considering I want to be in the south of England and in a rural location with lots of open space around so a park home seems an interesting option. The obvious downside is that I'm guessing it will be a depreciating asset from the moment I buy it but since I'd have to spend 6 months of the year in the UK and I don't want to live in some 2 up 2 down terrace in Aldershot, or somewhere, it may be a price I have to pay.

I assumed these were residential clubs for the more mature swinger.

I still don't know what it is... never heard of it. Unless he means he wants to live in a trailer park?

That's what they are - what we would call "mobile homes", normally 2 of them stuck together and clad in logs.
          e.g.

You'll love it. Go for it. Just your type of people. Be some lovely ones on Canvey Island that would suit you down to the ground.

Well, this is my idea of a park home:

Can we get rid of this tedious sockie just trolling to the forums for self gratification? No need for him to be here and you are just feeding him an excuse to do it again when he eventually gets banned. Everything he says is just bulltulip so why are we entertaining it?
