As it happens, I am thinking of splitting my time between the continent and here so I'm not remotely trolling the forum in the slightest.

I know those ones a little bit. The entire development has been on the market a few times. Not heard about year-round living there though. Owners might be flouting the law with the schooling.

That was when I was contracting with NW 10 years ago, or so. They were, I believe, openly flouting the law but presumably it allowed them to use the property as a registered address to get their kids into the local schools.

All of those are clearly being advertised as holiday homes, not year-round residential.

What are you on about? I've created this thread for reasons outlined above, and made a few posts about motorway services and holidays. That's about it.
