    Weeeekend Thread

Those who have billable days, have fun... everyone else how will you be spending the 4 days?

It's crept up on me so I am not prepared (and feel as tired as if it were Friday!) but I have a demolition project to do if the rain will only stop peeing down. I suspect at least one BBQ and some beer.
And I hope to watch Rafa Nadal win more tennis 2 matches

Nothing exciting planned. I have my final Open Uni assignment to do so the weekend will be spent doing that with selected Jubilee celebrations on the tellybox. I do like to watch the flypast up The Mall but I reckon the crowds will ruin the experience so I'll avoid seeing it in person. Most of the people there don't give a monkey's about aviation which is the most annoying part.

Nothing as exciting as last weekend.

Except Friday we meet our daughter's boyfriend for the first time.

This afternoon will involve flying racetrack patterns over a beacon at the airport, either in the clouds or with goggles to simulate the same effect. Tomorrow is more of the same but over a slightly different beacon.

Weekend is BBQs and fixing the RPi that's connected to my weather station but has bricked itself (again).

          And wine.

Yesterday we went out for dinner to celebrate a year of living in the new place. Gardening today/tomorrow, hopefully digging out another tree stump in between watching the blackbirds fledge, party on Saturday night a few miles away, and that will be it.

Bank holiday weekend so ramping up efforts to stay out of A&E.
New Microsoft Surface Pro has arrived to replace one that was dropped so need to build that out shortly.
Beer will be drunk later if i'm fit enough to go to the pub.
Rest of weekend involves more pub visits if possible and not much else apart from putting some new content on my website and playing retro computer games.
Oh and my new bright orange "smart crutches" should arrive on Saturday so will spend some time getting used to them.
