Some electric cars don't have a back-up battery for the system. If the battery goes flat, everything including the locking resets.

I thought the only thing worth stealing on an electric car was the charger. Lots of people are now buying bike locks including motor bike locks to lock their charger to the wheel and/or another object while charging their car.

I'm not wasting money that I could spend on other things.

The garages nearest to me are 5-8p more than elsewhere.

I was frugal in my youth, but my wife cured me of that. She loves to spend. So my attempts at being frugal are now a pointless waste of time..

While I agree with doing anything during work time, if it takes you an hour or two, either you are driving too far to get to a petrol station, or it's not pumping fuel fast enough. It should only take a minute or two to fill up.

Thing is if you need to fill up you need to fill up. You can't be frugal with fuel except to drive more efficiently.

I wonder if all this in Russia will actually drive(!) us to adopt green energy much more quickly simply to avoid dependence on unfriendly parties.
