What do you slather on yours?

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/a...MARMALADE.html

Cookery writer's suggestion that a bacon sandwich should be slathered with MARMALADE instead of ketchup or brown sauce divides fans - but how do YOU eat yours?
    • Felicity Cloake said marmalade and bacon sarnies are a match made in heaven
    • Ex-Blur bassist turned cheesemaker Alex James also agrees with the pairing
    • But British social media users have been divided by the odd suggestion

I'd try it. It's hard to make bacon taste bad and ham/orange isn't an unprecedented pairing.

I wonder if you can get something that's more a marmalade chutney?

I do occasionally like sweet chilli sauce.

Toasted brie, bacon and sweet chilli ... mmm ...

There's very little you can add to bacon and make it taste bad.

And little you can add to make it taste better

Bacon sandwiches with apple sauce might be OK, but IMHO marmalade is a step too far.

President Butter ( yes I know its French but it is better, and local sainsbugs ain't selling it at the moment )

Put some in a cup/bowl and fork through a bit whilst bacon is cooking, thickly slice some fresh (i.e. still slighty warm) farmhouse bread.

When bacon done pour the juices into the butter and mix, spread on the bread, make the sandwich and eat!
