The Soviet Union developed and eventually deployed both rocket- and projectile-type nuclear artillery systems.

The first system developed was the SM-54 (2А3) 406 mm gun, nicknamed "Kondensator" (Russian: Конденсатор, "Capacitor"); this was released in 1956.

A 420 mm breech-loading smoothbore self-propelled mortar, 2B1 Oka or "Transformator" (Russian: Трансформатор; "Transformer") was produced in 1957.

Testing revealed critical operational defects in both systems and they were not put into full production.

The purpose-built weapons suffered from the same deficiencies of the American M-65 Nuclear Cannon to which they are analogous; large, unwieldy, and quickly obsolete.
Sounds like the Septics were rather better at miniaturising the gadget than the Reds were.

Now, can I innerest anyone in a prime supply of Cobalt Thorium G?

I have plenty of toilet rolls stocked, tin foil for radiation proofing. The end of mankind will be good for solving climate change.

Neah, nations that trade together do not go to war and everyone trades with each other today.

It is just a distraction for the plebs from the actual things that are happening in the western societies, mostly economic related.

World was a bit more rudimentary back then and now with weapons off mass distruction the distruction would be so large, everyone would be appalled by even considering it.

And to see it as a show that it is, you would not need to align troupes at a border. You can send a racket that would turn to ashes half a country.

Infantery and foot soldiers do not even serve a purpose these days. It’s just for show.

Fear mongering by the corporate media to keep the masses in fear and docile so that the rulling masters can continue to do what they do.
