I hear some of the more liberal colleges are having real problems with male lecturers 'mansplaining' to female students.

The male lecturers should identify as non-binary every time they step onto campus - problem solved.

'Loving' how once again white men are experts in a field of which they have no experience*. Instead of listening to how women feel, I'm seeing the normal male response. We need to listen, learn, understand rather then assuming we know best.

It's a big leap from "having an opinion" or "wanting to be part of the conversation" to "assuming we know best".

Yes because most of us haven't a clue, we got through decades of marriage through sheer luck.

And yet you're all making that leap.

Why not listen and learn, rather than assuming your opinion is right?

Be part of the conversation, absolutely, but you can do this by listening and learning. You don't have to keep talking to be a part of the solution. Listen to what these girls and women are saying - it doesn't make you woke, it does though give you empathy.

I think you're making some pretty big generalisations.

If you want to devote yourself to womens' rights then great, go for it. Until of course women get upset a man thinks they need defending. You're a man talking about what's best for women too, you see.

Actually it was aimed more at SueEllen but if you are feeling insecure about telling people what to do and accusing them randomly of racism then you own it!
