Agree on being unable to reply - it comes up with the invalid URL error when I hit the button.Comment

Back button doesn't work (at least in Chrome), something about a cache miss. Also cloudflare seems to check every. single. time., which seems wrongComment

Oh, hang on: if you're seeing CloudFlare then finding the Back button gives that error, I think it's because CloudFlare's "not a robot" thing submits its form rather than just getting the page you were after, and browsers try to prevent repeat form submissions so you don't book the same airline ticket twice and so on. I'll see if they can find a setting for that tooComment

This doesn't help with the Back button thing, but at least that should only be a problem once a day and, if things go as planned, once a week
Edited to add: I've also just been told that as there was an ongoing bot swarm, the protection has been set to the highest level, which means it challenges every visitor that hasn't been challenged within the set time. Assuming the bots have moved on, they'll drop it down a notch. That means that CloudFlare will first check for other signals that you're not a bot when deciding whether to let you pass, so will be much less likely to challenge you in the first place.Last edited by NickFitz; 21 January 2025, 09:16.Comment
