Clothing: black burka juts like all the other black burkas, pretty indistinguishable.

shoes: who knows long black clothing obscures shoes most of the time

approximate height: not really going to work is it. Need to know camera angle, distance to subject etc. to even get close to measuring height.

biomechanics: can you see the biomechanics of someone wearing a long full loose body covering, regardless of colour.

Someone wearing a gimp mask on the other hand..... probably much easier to track on the public streets using CCVT.
I suppose it depends how many people are on the street overall and what percentage are wearing burkas.

I don’t think they should be banned; I think their use should be challenged.

WRT balaclavas - They might be a bit hot if they wore them at the moment. Perhaps a summer ban?

      What do you think?
I think there may be cultural issues in certain parts of the UK.

How many becomes too many though? Are you suggesting quotas per square mile?

No - I was simply stating that CCTV tracking someone in a garment/helmet which conceals the face is somewhat dependent on crowd density, and number of others who are similar in appearance.

                  Banned? Nope.

Made culturally unacceptable? Yes, most definitely!

                    Too right...

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

People should have the right to wear what they want.
