That's an ages old story anyway, but it's Bercow comes over as the twunt (yet again...). What kind of an MP is going to take serious exception by being addressed by their married name? And you will note that it wasn't her that complained...Originally posted by BlasterBates View PostBlog? What blog...?

What kind of MP is going to think that it's normal to be referred to as "Mr (or Mrs) whatsisface"?Originally posted by malvolio View PostThat's an ages old story anyway, but it's Bercow comes over as the twunt (yet again...). If you can't remember her name then you use the title, it's quite simple.Comment

He did but the way he did it was insulting e.g. he pretended not to know that name.Originally posted by original PM View PostHe kind of did -- Lady Nugee -- which she also did not like.
Also it is disrespectful to call anyone by the name they don't use whether they are married or not. In the UK you can go by what name you like as long as you aren't doing it for fraudulent purposes.
Mother-in-laws often use this as a weapon against their daughter-in-laws who refuse to change their lastnames on marriage. Though in families like that if the son really wants to piss his parents off he can change his lastname as well."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
