Bristow has been hounded on Twitter for clumsily saying that men should man up and go and give their abusers a kicking instead of whining about their past on media. Whilst I am not sure that I agree that it is possible for people to overcome this terrible abuse as simply as he suggests and that his choice of words about "poofs" was particularly clever (he later recanted and said he should have used the word paedo instead) I think he has a point. There are too many liberals on the look at for victims to whom they can pin the sanctity of their moral self righteousnous and this it seems is one of them.

Eric Bristow should stop whining about people who hound him, man up and give them a good kicking.

I am not saying there is anything wrong of the individuals to go public I am merely pointing out the public reaction and that there are other ways of dealing with it. Eric Bristow's proposal is just one of them. What I cannot stand is the leftie liberal judgemental attitude towards him

Is that why you feel so obliged to virtue signal all over this hallowed forum?

It's attitudes like his that shame people into not coming forward.

Those speaking out ARE the ones fighting back and empowering other victims to come forward.

People like him and those that would defend him are just
DA doesn't actually think he (Bristow) has a point, he's just using the plight of the victims to try and score points in his crusade against the "Whinging liberal left". In his eyes the leftie virtue signalers are to blame for mollycoddling the victims, rather than just telling them to HTFU and deal with it.

                  He is a Fqwitt!

Like any intelligent criminals pedophiles tend to pick victims and arrange circumstances so they are unlikely to be caught.

They pick the children that are easy to manipulate and slowly make them feel responsible for the abuse. There is no way that someone abused like that can stand up to it especially if it appears sanctioned & endemic.

During the 80s & Early 90s I was a Youth leader in a well known organisation and most of the traditional organisations were struggling to deal with the possibility that abuse was going on in those decades.

They put in procedures and tests to identify abuse - before it had all been a bit we trust you old chap (very common in 80s organisations), offenders were caught and the opportunities for abuse restricted. This was across a number of organisations (most youth leaders knew each other, we were in the same church, college, family, relationship or drawn together at joint events)

This is why I find it difficult to comprehend why 20-35 years later this abuse is still going on wholesale. There were laws enacted to stop this abuse the organisations that didn't implement them should pay the full price.

Funny how people, in particular bigots and right wingers, suddenly come out and say these things afterwards or that they were hacked or they were on medication. Why doesn't he just MTFU and say that, yes he actually meant it...
