Which kind of destroys the whole argument, about Eastern Europeans undercutting Brits.

Most companies are short of people and they'll pay as much as they can to get them whilst still making a profit.

Feck the UK. Lets take border control back, even if it means imposing exit visas for UK citizens.

          ah bremoaner logic.

Blaster - Well we can't afford to pay more & compete so the useless brits should work for minimum wage. Its their fault the EU nationals will work for NMW.

Vetran - look here is 1 company paying good money, not complaining about getting staff & making a decent profit

Blaster - see there aren't any jobs at NMW in poultry business we should pay as little as possible though.

can see why you believe the EU fairy tale.

            That's dreadful.

Does it say who commissioned it?

Or over what time period that is?

And was that the best case scenario? Or was it the worst?

And was it a reduction from now or where we 'might' be in the future?

Looks bad unless e.g. it was commissioned by someone like Osborne and they have quoted the worst case scenario against what might theoretically have been in 15 years time.

Read to the end ... Yes its' based on the FUD bollocks that Osborne put out before the referendum. 9.5% reduction in GDP ... That's happening ... not ... They are now recycling the tulip they wrote before as facts.

How much profit did Faccenda make last year ?

How much could they afford to raise salaries/wages ?

                (Information available on their website)

Can a small company without the economies of scale that Faccenda have afford to pay the same ?

Faccenda have bought some poultry factories recently that couldn't keep their head above water.

so their competitors are struggling yet they are succeeding maybe their competitors need to rethink their strategy? Note Bernard Mathews the biggest Turkey producer in the EU (so nice & large so they must have massive economies of scale) has made losses for years

Lidl & Aldi seem to beat the big boys and pay above average.

Are we in agreement that last year the UK was the 5th largest economy.
