Yes it is wrong and it should be changed. But leaving the EU will not solve these issues. Eg. The head of Southampton City Council went to a one week Public Services Conference… on a Caribbean Cruise Ship costing £50k.

Environmental Agency staff flying off around the world for conferences.

UN Aid workers put up in five star hotels
Etc etc etc

Your logic is flawed. Being in the EU is tulip. That doesn't being being outside the EU is better. It's rather like Ben Goldacre put in when talking about the anti-pharmaceutical lobby - Big Pharma being tulip doesn't mean magic beans work.

That's like saying you should stay in a rubbish relationship because it's better than being on your own. But the chances of meeting someone right are much lower when you are with someone.

Why isn't being outside the EU better? If you are outside the economy is streamlined, decisions are faster, accountability ensures less corruption and more efficiency. Why on earth would you want to subsume yourself to this behemoth of a bureaucracy?
