I don't quite understand how us wanting to sell things to Holland is dependent upon us giving unfettered access to Greeks (as an example). In most walks of life selling to Holland would be reciprocated by Holland selling to us. But not in the EU.

It seems the drumbeat for a 'Norway' style solution is starting to get louder. The problem is such an outcome would be political suicide for May.

We haven't seen one so we don't know.
I'm sure if the Germans set their mind to it, they could come up with a formidable fighting force.
And more to the point they can afford it.
What with Britain poor and seemingly unreliable and Trump saying he would not use Nato to defend Europe (!), I think a EU army is a given.
