Stop talking sense it might catch on!

Is this the sign of a worrying new trend?

Access to any benefit is going to depend on your personal situation. I don't think blanket saying everyone could claim is going to be true is it ? Likewise say no one can is clearly bollocks as well ?
That was the problem. Knowing the rules around claiming PC broke them or at best hit very lucky that the assessor skipped a section or two....

Sadly 2 years of writing systems for DWP mean that I'm far less ignorant than I want to be and while I try my hardest to drown the details out I still know far too much about that area.....

They are figuring out how to do it. They will get there shortly.

Well, if it's so wrong you'd better PM admin and have him remove this page before CUK gets in trouble.

I guess you are also willing to go on record as saying that the firm that wrote that piece are promoting fraud, if you're so sure of yourself?

I'll bet others will claim it if they need to/are able to. Of course, no-one is going to actually admit it on the forum because that would look 'uncool'. But then no-one will find out what you do in real life so its the safety of an internet forum.

                  Perhaps I'm just too honest....
If any user posted on the forum suffering financial hardship, I would remind them that they can claim it - in fact I have done so - see here - bizarrely the OP has copied my reply into his original post which is a bit weird!

To be fair that OP was quite a few sticks short a bundle as well reading his history. Must go hand in hand with claiming JSA.....

Nothing I did either before, or during claiming was disallowed or even frowned upon. In fact, at the time, they were more than happy to process my claim because they knew I'd be very little trouble to them.

Like I always say, dont claim if you dont want to. No odds to me at all. Just dont shout down people who want to claim.
I said questionable. You initially had over the saving limit, in dividends, of 16K allowed to claim, however, you used this to pay off your total credit card bill. This then allowed you to qualify for Income Based JSA, as you no longer had savings.

If I'm wrong about this then I apologise
