I guess somewhere there are rules which outline terms of behaviour and consequences of breaking the rules thereof i.e bans etc. I have no problem with this.

BUT I'll bet my morgage that nowhere does it say if you break the rules your sig will be replaced with a childish insult? If its there then I stand corrected.

You mention the running of the business. I don't know who owns contractoruk and what the mods involvement in this is. If the mods do own the forum then you're right they can do as they please.

I do wonder if the true owner of the forum would stand by the recent actions though?

Maybe Im wrong and the mod who did the deed owns this forum after all - then I'll look stupid!

For a website we just visit to waste time on, you seem to be getting very angry about something you have no control over.

You really have 3 options here, scream in the echo chamber as you currently are doing while everyone laughs at you until the mods get fed up and ban you, accept it and keep posting or fluff off to another site.

OK. I will admit that I find it strange that I'm not allowed to have an opinion on it so I do tend to stick up for it a bit.

Problem is no-one else on the forum will admit that its perfectly legal thing to do- thats all I ask. If you dont want to, for whatever reason, then dont. But we've had newbies being told you can't do it because thats why.

Thats letting personal opinion get in the way of fact - and its wrong.

You sticking up for it also covers you trolling with it for no other reason than to get a rise, which you've admitted to regularly.

We have admitted it, plenty of times. We also point out that it's an absolute last and our opinion that it's poor advice as standard operating for contractors (which is our opinion). Sadly when you do mention it it's often put in more like a troll rather than factual advice. The rest of the advice is normally crap as well but that's for a different discussion. The number of times you mention it as solid advice compared to trolling is very low. The fact that you are the ONLY person that advocates JSA as a valid route speaks volumes which further backs up the trolling line.

Not sure how you can say letting personal opinion getting in the way of fact. So many people are telling you what's going on here and you are still not listening or understanding. You call it mob rule, others seem to see it as combined peer opinion and you just aren't getting it.

But you won't take any of this on board either.

I'll bet others will claim it if they need to/are able to. Of course, no-one is going to actually admit it on the forum because that would look 'uncool'. But then no-one will find out what you do in real life so its the safety of an internet forum.
