Now, another source has said Clarkson is signing with ITV for a brand-new motoring show that is slated to air in exactly the same Sunday night slot as Top Gear.

It was a company expense. In those days it was worthwhile to have a company car.
In February 1994 I wrapped it round a tree. It was not my fault! I hit some ice and the steering wheel stopped working. That was 3 days before flying to Mauritius. For my wedding. I had black eyes in the wedding photos.
Although I miss the car, my biggest regret now is that ex-mrs-bp was not with me that day. The car was totally crushed except for the driver compartment. I suppose at the time it would have totally destroyed me. Funny how attitudes towards people can change.
BBR finally did 4 phase3 conversions. Apparently mine was the best and fastest. I had a motoring magazine review it. It was described as "not so much burning a candle at both ends as applying a blow torch in the middle".Comment

I have to say I do hope they do go head to head with the BBC and win by a large margin.
And that is purely pout of spite - however yes Clarkson gave someone a fat lip (wow!)
But then he is probably the main man on one of the most successful worldwide tv shows and after a day of filming he is told he can have a few cold cuts.
Can you imagine that happening to Matt Perry after a day filming Friends? or Kiefer Sutherland after a day filming 24?
The answer is no but it just shows what a bunch of mealy mouthed hipsters the BBC employs - they do not recognise the worth of the talent they have cos they are to busy kissing each others arses.Comment

Clarkson has not agreed with you. He admits he made a huge mistake.
I wish Clarkson well - and I will miss him on Top Gear - but I'm not going to blame the BBC for his leaving.Comment

D'oh!
Top Gear in crisis? Filming held up because Chris Evans 'CAN'T drive and talk into the camera at the same time'- Notoriously chatty presenter is said to be struggling to speak while driving
- Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May all did it perfectly
- But Evans is supposedly taking up to ten takes a time to get his lines right
- Delay is 'frustrating' the Top Gear production crew facing tight deadline
