Oh shock horror - they get rid of the guy who had 25 years plus experience of doing this and replaced him with someone with no experience and so they are struggling...

oooh did the BBC hipster tw@s completely underestimate the skills and experience of the previous three because they were too busy looking down their noses at people who do not make programmes about fat lesbians giving birth in yurts

Oh dear - nothing against Evans but the BBC has really showed it's true colours in this fiasco and unsurprisingly they are various shades is tulip brown.

So, the BBC got rid of a foul mouthed RWNJ for punching. Well done. Right thing to do. If a contractor punches an employee, immediate dismissal for gross misconduct. No two ways about it.

Why do people defend Clarkson's actions? Is he above the law like his chum Cameron? I enjoy reading some of his articles when they are about cars, but Top Gear has not been about cars for several series now. It has been a chat show which features "challenges". It would be nice to have a motoring show back on the BBC and hopefully Evans can deliver it.

BBC responds to claims that Chris Evans can't talk and drive at the same time on Top Gear

A BBC spokesperson told Digital Spy: "This 'story' is complete nonsense.

"The truth is that Top Gear producers have been blown away by how quickly Chris has taken to talking to camera whilst driving at speed, a skill which has taken some presenters a long time to master."
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Oh, sorry. Just because I don't believe contractors should be allowed to punch others with no consequences. Your opinion might be different. Doesn't make you right.

It's a fair point that this cannot be easy to do. Just look at James May, he never really managed it.

Which is why they need women presenters. Women can talk and drive. In fact, two women can talk and listen at the same time.....

So you think it is correct to make some one work a 16 hour day and when they come looking for a bit of sustenance you can chuck them a few cold cuts with a smug grin and expect them to humbly accept it?

I do not understand why people think within the context of 'work' they can treat people like absolute sh!t and then all will be forgotten when they walk out of the door.

That is a typically sh!t hipster attitude called justifying your actions by hiding behind authority.

The poor man, having to eat cold food. I'm fairly sure he could have found a restaurant in the evening.

And he was hardly 'forced' to work a 16 hour day. Though for £10k a day I have little sympathy. Get a grip on real life and stop being so entitled.
