Makes anyone wonder what you'd reboot it into.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

A big mistake if they go to a subscription service.

why , those who like it enough will pay and those that don't will watch the reruns of top gear on Dave.

TG couldn't go on forever, and there is something to be said for going out with a bang, rather than fading away slowly, or in a slow march into rubbishness like the Simpson's has been doing for 10 years.

Demand for a JC/JM/RH car show is still high and it will be interesting to see what any new show would look like. I would hope they can wrest the track from Top Gear, that is one thing not covered by IP.

As for the Evans show, well I like Evans but he has known megalomaniac tendencies buried deep down. Giving him the biggest TV show in the world is perhaps not a good idea. Stand well back. And hiring a female presenter would not go down well with Top Gear's female fanbase.

Fantastic news, especially if they get signed by ITV.

But regardless of what platform they choose, it will have a massive worldwide audience anyway via bittorrent, and thus plenty of export potential to other countries.

They're not daft Clarkson/May/Hammond and this is the best thing they could have done. Together they're bigger than the "Top Gear" title, which I'd imagine will probably run for another couple of series before being quietly retired.

Can't agree the presenters are ever bigger than the show. That's the mistake Evans made with TFI/Radio1/Virgin

They'll probably call it "Gear Heads" or something

people watch it for the presenters, good shows can change presenters but it has to be sympathetic.
