This sounds more complex than you're letting on. Particularly since you actually [albeit it for 30 mins] considered actually taking her up on the idea.
Not really, hasn't everyone thought about changing everything in their life? I may have hinted that GFP might not be a permanent fixture

Ok that's a good idea too. Thanks!

I have to run to the airport and fly home now (not from her country, from Cape Town) so I'll talk to you guys in 15-20 hours. have fun. MP, if you have chance to think up any more options I'd be grateful.

Depending on what is contained in those text messages you're going to have to adopt a bit of tact.

"I know, it's a lovely idea and it would be great but realistically it's not practical because..." Whatever follows is going to have to reflect how well you know each other, any additional circumstances & how genuine you feel like being. If she senses BS and thinks she's been strung along you're toast. If you can explain why it's not practical and be convincing, then who knows.

Platypus, when you see a PM in your inbox with the title 'You're An Idiot' - it's from me.

As I see it, you have 3 options:

Option 1: Tell her you've given it some serious thought but you would be marrying for the wrong reasons, that would only end badly, it seems a shame to spoil the relationship we have etc etc etc

          Option 2: Kill yourself.

Option 3: Kill everybody else in the world.

          Good luck.

I think telling GFP (at least in part) is probably worth considering, if that's a serious thing. It will probably cause some stickiness but nowhere near as bad as GFP somehow getting a call/text from this woman - which is entirely plausible.

For instance telling GFP there's a woman who has a crush on you and you were a prat and flirted along, and now she's got the wrong idea...

I doubt many here will agree with the honestly approach but then CUK is a wasteland of broken marriages and bitter ex-spouses...

Option 4 - Tell her you need to try out the marriage option by hooking up with her and two nympho swedish birds
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

As a contractor , your first job is maximise your company profits.
This means telling her you will marry her for a rate rise and a ten year extension.
Marrying her, then charging £50 per hour plus vat for your sexual services.
