In classical times words like "vagina", "vulva", "clitoris", and "penis" among others were considered unspeakably coarse slang!Originally posted by Halo Jones View PostVagina?
From memory, I think the proper name for "clitoris" was "landica", and for "vagina" it was "ficus", and there were respectable alternatives to the others.
Similarly, it's ironic that (until recently) the Roman Catholic church used latin for its services, when the Romans themselves would have considered Latin too commonplace and used Etruscan for theirs.

My girls & friends describe it as their 'Minnie' (as in the mouse).
For the more amorous moments with Mrs V, I prefer 'Love Canal' or her 'Willy warmer'.Comment
