Funnily enough, Sky News, who doorstepped the woman and broadcast her details worldwide, have hardly mentioned her suicide/death on their programmes/web feed.

Probably they "wish to respect her privacy".

Before you lot accuse me of double standards, the McCann's have courted and sued the media when they didn't like the results. This woman did neither, she was outed by the media.

She did publish stuff to the entire world though. Doesn't everyone know they can find who you are if they really want to?

You forget how stupid people are.

I've sat at Facebook and surprised people who work there with the amount of information I could find out about them from things they had published without realising over the years.

Hint if you have a facebook account and keep it even vaguely upto date anyone with access to it probably knows more about you than you would want them to.

It should have been the police knocking on her door if there had been a crime committed though. Sky News are obviously so embarrassed that they drove this woman to take her own life that they are not reporting on it.

They shouldn't have left their kids alone!

They were/are selfish and their daughter is paying/has paid the price.

So the subsequent punishment of having their child kidnapped/abducted is just reward then? Because it was clearly "their fault" they should not have made any attempt to find her? They should have just disappeared?

Had they left their child for a reason other than "socialising" would the situation have been the same?

Indeed if they hadn't sued the press would have escalated with more and more wild claims.

This lady was an unpleasant bully, it is sad for her family that instead of being punished and educated by the law she took her own life. I do feel pity for her as its perfectly possible that she would have been carried in the moment as happens here iduring the Suity, GG etc bashing that goes on.

I don't think any of her tweets were aimed directly at the McCanns so she wasn't trolling them. She was discussing the possibilities of what had happened in general and a few were quite nasty about the parents but, as they aren't on Twitter, they didn't see the tweets themselves.
