A fairly interesting ( if a bit long, I read in on the train home ) article on triangulation of artillery and rocket impacts on soil inside Ukraine and the subsequent connection to satellite images of tracks and burn marks on ground inside Russia.

Summation is that Russia have been firing stuff from inside their border.
EDIT: which we all knew but it's pretty damning evidence all the sameLast edited by minestrone; 17 February 2015, 17:12.Comment

Some of it sounds quite large.
I wonder if we're building up to sommat.
The Ministry of Defence acquired several thousand acres of Mynydd Epynt in 1939. This now forms the core of the Sennybridge Training Area (SENTA). Unsurprisingly this move was a controversial one, not least for those people who were required to vacate their land. The decision to set up military drills here resulted in the border of Welsh-speaking Wales being effectively shifted approximately 10 miles (16 km) to the westHow fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't thinkComment

[3] Sure about that? Tell it to Merkel.

It's not hard to see why the West is losing the 'information war' as well as the actual civil war in Ukraine.
Russia is dancing rings around America on all fronts at the moment. Kerry/Nuland/Psaki and co need to get the flip out of Ukraine and stop embarrassing themselves, they can take Porky pig with them and give him a new home in the US before he ends up getting lynched by his own people..."Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like? 2 Great headlines on the BBC this morning, first one said:
"America warns Russia over Ukraine!"
Followed by the usual groundless accusations of the rebels breaking the ceasefire, everything is Russia's fault, Russia did this and that, ooh look how many people have died blah blah blah with the usual stern words from America.
Soon to be replaced with:
"Ukraine troops retreat from key town"
The withdrawal comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin urged Ukraine's troops in Debaltseve to surrender.

Gosh that's some real aggression there... I think the world needs America to issue some more tough talk!!

I think America and NATO need to stop faffing around in Ukraine now and start focusing on a real threat:
ISIS plans to invade Europe through Libya – report
