That's about as likely as Labour having a credible economic policySocialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent. -
That's been brewing for about a week. I agree this makes Ukraine look like a picnic. Given that this happened since the Egypt beheadings I wonder if Zeity's onto something with this low flying planes en masse heading for Egypt. Summat is definately up.Originally posted by Jog On View PostI think America and NATO need to stop faffing around in Ukraine now and start focusing on a real threat:

This documentary was on last night (German TV) which I don't think would have made Putin happy, if even half of it is true: Startseite - ZDF Mediathek!
There was another a couple of years ago: 'I, Putin': An Inside Look at Russia's Aging, Lonely Leader - SPIEGEL ONLINE which can be seen here and was not so critical: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TL40p3CJ88“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

What a load of twaddle by interviewing spotty college leavers who think they know everything. It's about as stupid as "Putin's child soldiers story"…Originally posted by darmstadt View PostThis documentary was on last night (German TV) which I don't think would have made Putin happy, if even half of it is true: Startseite - ZDF Mediathek!

Jolly good that someone watched it and understood it all such as the interview with his superior in the KGB in Dresden or the unearthing of Stasi files or the spotty college leaver who worked with him back in the early 80's. I'm so happy for you that you know him that wellOriginally posted by Paddy View PostWhat a load of twaddle by interviewing spotty college leavers who think they know everything.

I didn't realise the Russians wanted Cornwall. Never mind, let them have it, we'll be able to pop across the border for cheap vodka and nubile young ladies who want to live here. Wonder if we'll still need to pay the £75 visa fee though.Originally posted by Unix View PostI'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. The UK (Property of USA inc) war machine seems to have ratcheted up a few notches today:
BBC News - Russia 'danger' to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia - Fallon
Really?Mr Fallon said the situation was not a new Cold War - and was "pretty warm" already.
Meanwhile the Europeans and Russians are trying very hard to get some peace conditions set out - it would appear that our esteemed politicians and press are dead (pun intended) set against it...
They must be getting a bit desperate and this information warfare campaign is getting embarrassing..."Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like? If that is the case then we have free speech."- Elon MuskComment
