The catch is that they are clever little tulips. They will ask for references from the places you worked. They can tell it is an agency.
BTW, I think that now since CAPITA is handling most Public Sectors contracts, they actually do want 2 references beforehand, I have seen them even ask for last 5 years of references... crazy. I am willing to provide the info but give me a job first.

Had 2 calls last week about supposedly genuine contracts (private sector). Each one concluded with a request for 2 technical references with me refusing to play ball.
Just had another call from Rocsearch & I asked right away if this was going to be another convoluted conversation which would end up with a request to give 2 technical references. Phone went dead.
