      Just trying to help

Sorry Windyanna, just trying to help. I called the insolvency company to ask them what I can suggest to my contractors and they mentioned a RP4 form. If this is incorrect I am sorry. I just feel so sorry for everyone. We have al lost so much money and I can not believe this can happen. Reading everyones comments it looks like it does happen far too often. I am not doing contract vacanies anymore after this. I have spoken to someone today who spoke to Jobsite and they said that one of the directors set up a new company ( which is on Companies house) on that Wed using the 2 months left on Vertias's credit. They wouldn't comment further once they had realised they had said too much. Some would say just move on but I for one cannot do this after what they have put both staff and contractors through!!

Still_in_the_dark you took the words right out of my mouth! I'm in. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with this and carry on in time as if none of this happened. They've got a database full of our hard work, for those who got info scribbled down before the final curtain they can hang on to some of their work, for others this will be not only a short term blow financially but a long term struggle to build up that kind of information again.

Invoices have been sent to clients (recently) which suggests someone is at Veritas trading as normal and this has question marks all over it. I refer to theScoobyDoo with his posting...surely they cannot believe they can save the business by invoicing for October starters and trade as per norm?? Someone please explain???

          Hi,

          Just to give some infos:

          1) This website have been setup by Veritas-IT contractors (dozens) coming from all around the world but working currently in South Africa

          2) We have setup this website because we have quickly understand that if try to deal with Veritas-IT alone, we won't go far.
We think that we have to join our efforts with all those others Veritas-IT contractors, in order to become more powerful. Its simple like that.

          3) We are hoping that all the Veritas-IT contractors will come to discuss with us in order to found the best way to get paid. We believe that the more we are, the more we will be able to found the right strategy.

          4) On our side, we have been in touch with many people (including Client, umbrella, 3rd parties, legal advisor), seeking for advices.
The conclusions we get have been published in the announcement section of the website.

          Please be ensured that:

          - This website is NOT a commercial website. It is 100% maintain by Veritas-IT contractors trying to get paid.

          - Some of us haven't been paid since Feb 07, some others since July 07. This have a big impact on us, especially as we are expatriate and as we have no warranties that even our upcoming invoices will be paid. Creating this website, we even have take the risk to make us visible, and so to be fired. But we believe that we deserve this money, and that it is our right to fight to get it !

Actually the best conclusions we have establish have been published in the announcement section of the website.

Please do not hesitate to put your comments in the website or to suggests better conclusions than the one we have published.
This website is OUR website. Everybody can contribute to it in the way he want. What we are looking for is only to get pay. Nothing more, but nothing less.

Please bear in mind that at any time from now, Veritas-IT can get an Admin appointed. If you think to the consequencies this will have on our invoices, you will understand our conclusions.

The time we have is now extremely limited.
Please join us. Again, its OUR website, to all Veritas-IT contractors.

I don't understand this website. It seems to be to do with CXC global who are trying to take over contracts? Not sure that jumping to a company based abroad is a good idea - then again maybe there is nothing wrong with it if it suits.

I can't see how this site will benefit anyone, I could be wrong though. Can anyone clarify? There doesn' seem to be dozens of people signing up.....

There seems to be talk of submitting or not submitting timesheets. I personally think all timesheets should be submitted all the while contractors are working at client sites and the client is with Veritas.

Nobody wants to be accused of breaking their contract by not submitting timesheets - it can only weaken your position.

IMO, it's best to make a clean break and keep the past problems with not being paid separate from any future agreements rather than mixing the two.

                Anyone disagree?

                  Hi Hevra
I think you tought I was an agency looking to catch people, maybe I read it wrong. But I am actually representing CXC Global currently helping a number of contractors globally source their billing and payments from Amdocs. Our company is also chasing the payments on behalf of contractors for prior to 25th September.

This website was created by VERITAS contractors globally and I was invited because of my help and expertise.

                  Kind regards

                    Hi Funkyd
                    You are quite correct.
Our company CXC Gobal is representing our existing contractors in chasing VERITAS for payment now and will continue to chase until it is legally resolved. As far as future arrangements go, we are signing up new contractors as they have to engage an agency or umbrella company (which we are) in billing and invoicing end client directly for contractors work. They are seperate issues and being dealt with individually. Not only are we able to put in place arrangements with end client for billing and payments starting now, but are also able to provide tax efficient (smart salary packaging) for contractor globally. We have currently over 7000 contractors globally on our solutions in four continents.

                    Kind regards
