I suspect contractors on the bench don't count in the unemployment statistics, although I admit I did sign on once in the past (it was to get a discount price for an adult education course)

Is it just me, or has there been complete radio silence from recruiters in the last few days? Last week, things were looking up and I was getting calls and my CV was getting sent out. Now there is NOTHING but crickets. This is not looking good at all.

I know some positions that were going to go live have now been put back until April where I work, I can imagine it will be the same in other industries.

IR35 off the menu now, let’s see these contracts come back now.

Each one of us will be rich by 2021!!!!

Seriously though, do we expect an increase in roles coming up with the attractiveness of us flexible types?
