First O2, now EE confirms EU roaming charges are coming back and the price is a shock

Which was always denied what would happen by the mobile providers and brexiteers on here kept posting links to that. Just can't wait for the gammon faced idiots coming back with high mobile bills, crying this is not what they voted for

if you are not dim enough you can get a skype number and call from it. or a local sim card that includes data.

but for the average gammon... they received what asked for.

For Skype Viber whatsapp facetime etc you would still need data. If the gammon wants to call drunk from the beach there's very likely no wifi

I wonder if they all will, or some will strike deals.

Most of the companies are international lol, they most probably have deals anyway but they are not looking to apply them because it is not in their interest.
No EU legislation to dictate rules I am afraid…

Mobile companies love roaming. They only removed them due to the EU. In Switzerland, we also have high roaming charges. The EU decision change nothing - except to boost the sales of dual SIM phones and the likes of Yello.

yep the cost of the paper abroad.

its £2 a day. so probably £14 for your holiday.
