    That's this thread, isn't it?

Roger Johnson, president of America's National Farmers Union, said US food was "perfectly safe" and there had been a lot of "fear-mongering".
I know a guy who works for an animal pharma company in sales. He travels around the world a couple of times a year. He says that the US farmers honestly believe that their products are "The best in the world". They're really not.

Typical Anti-US EU bigotry on display.

Biting the hand that defends it.

A large proportion of imported chicken in the UK comes from Brazil and Thailand anyway. When we have our trade deal they'll just have to become more competitive than the yanks.

          I assume that's sarcasm.

Anyway, for the record, the Netherlands is by far the largest export to the UK for poultry.

Yeah but on the flip side - it's just food....

Anyway doesn't most of this stuff end up in chicken nuggets n other such things - e.g. you are not going to be able to buy a 'chlorine stuffed chicken' to put in your oven and roast?

They would be happy. It would prove they were free from the tyranny of EUSSR red tape.
