      This one?

"The head of the Frankfurt Main Finance trade body, Hubertus Vath, said last month that he expects as many as 10,000 jobs could move to Frankfurt from London over the next five years. Hesse Economy Minister Tarek Al Wazir said this week that he expected the Frankfurt region to draw several thousand jobs and noted that a Korean bank had already chosen the area over London, potentially meaning the hiring of as many as 15 people."

Yes, 15 is a good start on the way to 10,000. If they get 15 per month then it will only take them 55 years to hit the target. And those 15 aren't even moving.

And I thought you were claiming you needed to move thousands to get a bank license. There was me saying you needed a handful. And look, I was right!

No one can be this stupid, you're clearly just trolling now.

The banks need to get approval from the regulators (i.e. "due diligence") before they can start moving staff, so the move hasn't really started.

10,000 jobs is more than "a handful", and that is just in Frankfurt, they'll be distributed across the EU, Paris will probably get a lot more.

          I'm alright Jack

What's stupid about it? The only trolls look like you two who clearly don't know how banking regs work but still seem intent on sharing your thoughts with us.

The article quotes a company that has chosen Frankfurt and may recruit 15 people. Your mate suggested that I thought you might just need a plaque on the wall to get a license and I said pretty much 'yes'.

Are you claiming this bank with 15 staff will not get a license? Or do you accept that 15 is enough? Or is 10 enough? Do you have any clue whatsoever?

At least when NAT takes the pee out of me he is vaguely amusing. You two are just dumb.

Go on, how is it stupid?

15 is a handful. The contributor suggested 10,000 over the next 5 years but only 15 to date. And they aren't even moving.

oh look a personal anecdote good to see the remainers are approaching this with a certain rigour and professionalism. What's next Scooter popping in to tell us all is well in Merkelland.

Being classed as more intelligent than Paddy is, frankly, not that fantastic an accolade.
