Exactly they were in prams and in schools. Young people were overwhelmingly for remain. Some old nationalistic fascist UKIP bullies like you now decided on their future and ruined it.

There should be a minimum 60% of the vote in favour of such an important decision. This is what any civilised country would do.

Time for the UK to leave the stone age.

A third of young people voted to leave.

And of course no one else counts.

Luckily we have saved lots of people from clueless idiots like you. You don't even know where the EU is heading.

Ok. 60% for Scotland to leave the UK. As you managed 45 last time and polls currently say 48, it looks like we are stuck with you.

Not you personally of course as you aren't even in Scotland.

It's heading into negotiations in the next few months with a country that lacks direction, doesn't know what it wants, and has 52% of it blaming the EU for everything.

On the "non voters don't count" issue this is of course how it always works. However there IS an argument that in a referendum where the choices are "stay the same" or "make a change" then a non-vote is implicitly not a vote for change. It would be silly to say a referendum needs more than 50% of the population to 'win' but don't some countries have a required turnout clause on these things?

As it was only an advisory vote, the turnout as well as the vote distribution are BOTH relevant to the government's decision, should they choose to view it that way.

As I've said elsewhere, it would be a travesty if MPs don't rubber-stamp the vote though - DC, TM and JC have all said the referendum results must be respected.

So it's all over. Done deal. We just pretend to be happy with each other. Like the couple who refused to divorce cause it'll be better for the children.

                Right what's next. Ah, Christmas...

If a party goes into a general election campaigning for a second referendum, then there will be a second referendum, that could only feasibly happen under a new Labour leader, until then the key debate is beween "Soft Brexit" and "Hard Brexit".

There is no "pretence" involved. You had the choice 2 years ago and you made it quite clearly. Hasn't the penny dropped yet jellyhead?

I was not allowed to vote in the Scottish referendum. But I was allowed to vote in the UK referendum. I had @££$ all choice.
