                Am with Santander, no monthly charges or transaction costs (haven’t checked if you can still apply for this account). Interest rate is risible though, and pretty sure you’ll still need to fill in a lot of forms Heard a lot of good things about Starling too.

                  from the website you claim to have looked at... they need:

                  What you’ll need
                  • A smartphone (and internet connection)
                  • Valid photo ID, such as a passport or UK driving licence
                  • If you have documents which confirm the nature of your business at hand this will be easier
                  • About ten minutes of your time
