Ah sorry I misread that as the end client. This wouldn’t put me off, but agree mitigating with the payment terms is definitely the way forward. Worst case if there’s trouble with payments speak to the client and see if you can move agencies down the line. In the current market I’d keep any option...

Sounds like a potential start up? Is the work interesting, with good autonomy? I’d definitely consider it if it’s good tech, wfh (if you want that!) etc, and keep looking in the meantime.

This was with Parasol. I’d agree I’d be very surprised if anything came from breaking the notice period, but as it’s a client I’d worked with a few times before (and agency) I was more worried about being blacklisted from them than being sued. I did manage to avoid giving notice but refused...

I’ve had this happen with an umbrella before, the client had their terms added which I had to explicitly accept on their portal, which included notice period, project, etc. I wasn’t happy with the notice period either, as they were trying to do similar, so I negotiated it down to a month either...

I can’t honestly remember what I did with the ashes, maybe still in it! Yeah it does clutter my garage so fair point, and if you’ve actually managed to stop your neighbours using their toxic wood burner then I’d definitely think twice about giving them an excuse to restart! Nearly all mine burn...
