    I'm guessing the APN was for 2006/7 or 2007/8?

    HMRC are not accepting the Montpelier letters for these 2 years as valid representations.

        You should let Montpelier know so they can add you to the JR.

              Miy 07/08 representations were flatly refused and the same payment date maintained. They have just written back acking the response informing them we're off to JR.

              05/06 appear to be causing HMRC a bit more of a problem though, still awaiting their response on those.

                The Montpelier letters for 04/05 & 05/06 were valid representations, that's why HMRC have agreed to put APNs on hold while they are reviewed.

                    If hmrc were to relent on the 05/06 and earlier years, presumably this would just mean that APN's weren't applicable / enforceable for these years? But the years in question would still be owed according to hmrc as per suspended on account amounts / original CN's?
