    DR/Santa

Can we email in scanned copies of CNs or do we need to print them and mail them in with the signed docs?
    Ha ha, I remember!

To make life simple for CCW, it would probably be better to send all the docs by post, so they are in one bundle.
If we keep admin simple, it will minimise costs.

My hope is that HMRC will offer a settlement on the same terms as George. (Or better!!)

Here comes along Mrs Negative once again.

      Do you work for them?

Somebody might by now have beaten me to the biscuits, but I wouldn't mind that. I'm in.

Hi Helen, are you signing up? Because I haven't seen an online application from you.

BTW, a settlement is completely out of the question - HMRC made that clear to us in meetings. "Brinkmanship" is their hobby.

I think leeway has been totally removed from HMRC's remit. Its now very binary (all or nothing). Preferably all early enough via an APN to ensure you can't afford the tribunal costs...

TAA Total growing minute by minute

Great news with current 154 total!! Didn't expect so many so soon!
How can we try and increase this total?
In an earlier post it was mentioned by SC that a lot of NTRT members didn't bother reading through this thread due to the sheer number of (duplicate) posts that were being created.
I assume that all NTRT members would've received the email with details, are we just hoping that members will read this and (hopefully) join, or will further emails be sent to those members who haven't as yet joined the TAA cause? I realise that many members who have joined will know some who haven't, so we also have word of mouth.
Its not only growing the fighting fund, I am concerned that there may be members who over the years have lost hope of any further chance of success who may miss out on the chance to be a part of the TAA.

Also, if we win the appeal can we claim costs against HMRC?

Once again I would also reiterate the thanks to DR SC and many others who have kept all our hopes alive, we all realise the enormous time and effort you have put in over the years, probably at detriment to your own families.
In the (paraphrased) words of Winston Churchill "never has so much been owed by so many to so few"
                      thanks guys.
Hopefully at the successful conclusion of this we can have a celebration and meet up
