      For end client reasons I'm moving agency to AMS next month.

      AMS use Giant and purt everyone under £250 on PAYE. So AMS send you a KID for Umbrella work based on a day rate of £100 a day.

        We give access to all our agencies to be able to generate a KID that is based on the actual assignment rate - unsurprisingly the uptake is minimal

          Should say I'm staying with Clarity but they didn't make it obvious or easy - literally every step pushes you towards Giant until you finally get to a box that says insert the name and contact details of your FCSA umbrella here.

            Just had a run in with AMS as they gave me the old list with one brolly that's lost it's accrediation and didn't know about Clarity. Had to get Lucy involved who sorted it out so another example of pushing back on the client. In this case the lady didn't know so was easy to sort but to anyone reading, push back and ask for Clarity, get Lucy involved and if she can't sort it then you'll have to chose.

            They were going to put me through Giant by default. It was all over every email they sent so looked like the standard process so don't get tricked by them.

                Yet on my document from AMS it lists Clarity as on AMS's Approved Suppliers List ...

                You then get to their forms and eventually it's enter your FSCA member umbrella here...

                  I was dealing with the PRS arm of them who clearly had the wrong document. Lucy got some procurement people involved who got them up to speed.

                  Apart from that little hiccup and the default pushing to Giant it's nice to see they are so accommodating of other umbrellas, albeit a little contrived.

                    Seems like you'll get two Key Information Documents with Huxley.

                      It's nice to know that AMS are OK to deal with directly but there are an awful lot of people I know that, just like in the OP, when you are not dealing with AMS directly, you are going through another agency who just seem to do Rec2Rec with AMS (and there are plenty of them, dozens at least I suspect).

                      Nothing wrong with Rec2Rec of course but this issue around EERNIC's and KID's seems like an undetonated nuclear device under the market, nobody truly knows how many people are impacted or, how much money is involved.

                      There's opinions on Linkedin but they seem to be getting very low engagement from the entire industry, sure there are news articles posted on here but, apart from a niche part of the legal market and a small band of contractors who is actually taking notice of this problem?

                      Surely AMS are going to need to conduct an internal review to see how deep the rabbit hole has gone on this.
