Problem is, that there are no alternatives. Who is to say another Umbrella company isn't equally as vulnerable to this sort of attack.
People are going to find it difficult to move as they are not going to get their P45's, having to go on an emergency tax code and so on. Just a big mess created by government for contractors who really don't want to work in this way.
I can imagine the issue was similar when Covid first struck. Great when it's all good, but no interest in investing in the business and very poor when things inevitably go wrong.Comment
