Software for building trade

Hi
New here,
Just need a bit of help.
Looking some decent software which I can purhcase for
general joinery jobs. As need to find something which we can use, which is not too costly but can print out plans and is easily editable. not looking for major CAD programs which take years to learn.

Any help would be appreciated

There's a student version of AutoCAD that's free if you say you're a student.

They don't check and you can use a hotmail account to register

I think VISIO could be well worth investigating.

Sketchup mentioned above has one big advantage you can share components and there are already big libraries with great textures. The customer can view & edit for free and popping it on the web is easy.


You can also insert into google earth for joinery projects.
