Excellently timed thread bensey.
Just back from 2 weeks in Ecuador including a week's livaboard diving around Galapagos Islands.
Absolute bucket list stuff.

I love Seville, one of my favourite cities. I assume you're doing all the good stuff like the Real Alcazar?Originally posted by ladymuck View PostCurrently sitting in a bar in Sevilla, taking the train to Cádiz this afternoon. Back next week.
No other plans at the moment but that's not to say I won't be doing anything.
While you're in the Cadiz area, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art (aka the Spanish Riding School, with the Lippizaners) is just up the road in Jerez. You can go and see the nags in their stables & paddocks and, depending on the time of year (they go to Vienna during the winter months) you may also be able to see a show. You have to book in advance though. Thoroughly recommended, if you enjoy watching horses prancing about.

if
the bridge
doesn't have meaning then you are not living west enough

Which bridge? If you mean the Tamar Bridge, that people willingly pay to use just to get out of Cornwall, no, I can't see that. If you mean the Clifton Suspension Bridge, no I can't see that one either. Neither can I see the Millau Viaduct nor the Öresund Bridge (as featured in Broen).Originally posted by milanbenes View Postnice
depends how west you are, can you see the bridge from your place ?

that sounds awesome, can we all come and visit #CUKRentaCrowdOriginally posted by Uncle Albert View PostWe'll be off to our house in Spain for all of July with various children and their partners popping over for a few days.
I've given in this year and arranged for a MiFi hotspot for those that absolutely can't manage with whatever roaming data they have.

I wuz ganged up on.Originally posted by milanbenes View Post
who's idea was that ?

No, we have to get it done soon because not only does it need doing, but it won't be tax deductable in two years time. Loads of people are trying to get in under the deadline so it's not easy to find someone to do it, let alone choose when!
And... it costs a fortune so maybe we'll just decamp to my son's home while they're away. (And leave our daughter to feed the cat).
