Gosh. Well that set me off on the investigation of cob walled cottages, wattle & daub ditto, lathe & plaster.Originally posted by vetran View Post
ah now I have figured it out, Saddo is their secret weapon they are going to make mud & dung huts like in some of the new arrivals home countries. They will be able to easily create 5 million homes with Our Crappin Billy creating the Dung!
Who'd have thunk?
There were some cob cottages in this country until fairly recently.
Damn, it sounds like a plan!Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 8 December 2024, 12:32.

Contempt for the British voting public writ large.Originally posted by vetran View Post
As by your own reference it was started in 2018 then 20 years is obviously inaccurate.
UKIP was a failure and too closely associated with the bigoted little Englander demographic so it changed its name and pretended to be a whole new party - under the same old management and broad populist policies.
So 20 years is fairly accurate.

Try 20 years and you’d be accurate
Reform were started in 2018 https://find-and-update.company-info...history?page=2
And UKIP in 2004 https://find-and-update.company-info...istory?page=12
Farage and his grifters are hardly new to politics

Would you care to explain how you think Labour are going to build 1.5M homes over the next 4-5 years?
That's 821 per day for the next 5 years assuming working 7 days per week - I can't quite lay my hands on the figures, maybe you can remind us how many homes have been built since Labour came to power...

From memory its the first time the government have lost against a year old party.Originally posted by Andy2022 View PostNo surprises there… a new government was always going to have to do unpopular things
And the media and other rabble rousers were always going to drum up noise about them
What really matters is where we are in 3 or so years time
YMMV of course.
One wonders how far they can fall in the next few years, so far its like plummeting lemmings.
