we had a reseller who owned a restaurant just round the corner if he popped in he frequently invited you to lunch. All ordered in Punjabi without reference to the menu.

    Great food.

Likewise - the food he was given every morning was enough to feed him, his brother (who was also working in the team) and 2-3 others.

We used to buy our lunch on the basis that we only need a tiny bit of salad so to go with the main course.

Love it. I dislike my car smelling like a delivery vehicle though. And not so keen on eating something that's been sat in a bag for 6 hours.

Eat as much as you can, bin the rest and suggest he not bring so much next time.

"Husband went out for lunch yesterday with two colleagues one of which owned the restaurant. (South Indian)
He came home at around midnight 10pm with 5 large paper bags full of takeaway food.
The food has been sat in his car boot for the best part of 6 hours.

There is the equivalent quantity of 5 takeaway dinners for 4 people. A ridiculous amount of food!
Apparently the people he was with insisted on him taking the food and he did not pay for it.
We meal plan so I have food planned for the next few days. Our children dislike spicy food so won't be eating it either.
He is annoyed with me because
    1. I said he shouldn't have accepted it knowing we probably wouldn't eat it
    2. he should have given the bags away to people at work who would make use of it

It just seems such a waste of food (either the gifted food or the food that I had planned) and he can't see why I'm getting annoyed."

He should have stayed at the restaurant and shagged the girl/boy from accounts.
