Here's a news report from 12th December:

That report includes a quote from Nadhim Zahawi:
"Sitting in his office are the two people who are closest working with him, no alcohol on the table, not drinking, on a Zoom call or a Teams call, a virtual call respecting the lockdown rules."
So, the new photo undermines the previous defence.

This is being shown like it's a new development, but it was definitely out there at the very start of all the party stories. It got largely ignored then, surely on the scale of things this is a nothing.
