    Support Bubbles (hic!)

It was all just a little misunderstanding - support bubbles were in relation to the Champagne!

Looks like a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, I am so shocked - they are not drinking great English sparkling wines such as Nyetimber?

This is being shown like it's a new development, but it was definitely out there at the very start of all the party stories. It got largely ignored then, surely on the scale of things this is a nothing.

There was a similar photo shown before, but this is a bit different.

            Here's a news report from 12th December:
COVID-19: Boris Johnson accused of 'treating public as fools' as photo of Downing Street quiz emerges | Politics News | Sky News

That report includes a quote from Nadhim Zahawi:
"Sitting in his office are the two people who are closest working with him, no alcohol on the table, not drinking, on a Zoom call or a Teams call, a virtual call respecting the lockdown rules."

So, the new photo undermines the previous defence.

I loved the reason why he didn't realise it was a birthday party when everyone was singing happy birthday he thought they were washing their hands!

Aha, thanks for that. But the lockdown rules in England make no mention of alcohol - ulike other countries who actually banned selling the stuff. Can you imagine...?!
